Proprietors: Jim & Mary Lark
General Manager Adrian Lark
December 23rd, 2015 has come and gone and The Lark is now closed. After 35 years The Larks are ready to take a break. While it wasn't always easy, with trying economic times happening often in Metro Detroit, The Lark was always run the way Jim & Mary envisioned back in 1981, with quality, hospitality and warmth always being top priority. We were happy to serve you, our loyal patrons, for all these years, and to get to know you and your children and grandchildren. We loved being a part of your anniversaries, birthdays and weddings. And hearing about your kids going off to college and having children of their own. You will be missed. We hope to sell the restaurant to someone who loves it as much as we do, thus it should be reopening again someday soon. We'll keep you posted. Thank you for 35 wonderful years!.
The Lark has won more awards than any other restaurant in Michigan. For more than 34 years The Lark has earned local and national acclaim, making it the premier fine dining restaurant in the state. Our cuisine is eclectic, lovingly made by our chefs using local ingredients and french cooking techniques, and our award-winning winelist, with verticals extending back to the 80's and more than 1200 selections, is unmatched. The Lark's five course meals include your unlimited choice from our cold appetizer trolley, a choice of hot apppetizer, a salad choice, a sorbet palate cleanser and your choice of main course. Diners wishing so may have more of any course (with a couple exceptions) at no additional charge. The multi-coursed meals served in our sophisticated surroundings create a special experience, making The Lark a perfect choice for entertaining corporate clients or celebrating anniversaries and birthdays.
